The main purpose of using the vertical cooler to cool the lime clinker is to prevent the lime clinker from continuing to react under the high temperature after leaving the kiln according to the characteristics of quicklime rapid burning and rapid cooling, resulting in crystal growth and changing the active performance. Conducive to high-yield, quick-release, transportation and storage. Through the efficient conversion of material waste heat, high-heat combustion air is obtained.


The basic working principle of the vertical cooler: the lime clinker after leaving the kiln enters the cooler, it is scattered and accumulated around the air cap. The lime clinker is gathered on the disc by the metal inverted cone set at the bottom of the cooler, and piled up into a pile with a cylinder in the lower part and a cone in the upper part, which has a certain stacking height and can cover the air cap. The high-heat lime clinker stagnant in the cooler passes through two scrapers fixed in the corresponding angle plane of the disc, and is driven by the lantern gear to rotate, and the material is heated from the bottom to the top with the countercurrent cooling air. After heat exchange, it is scraped into the chute under the disc and discharged by a rotary discharger.


The advantages of vertical coolers are also:

1. The secondary wear of the lime clinker during the cooling process is reduced, and the lime clinker moves as a whole to complete the cooling and discharge.

2. The cooling time is shortened, the cooling process of lime clinker is about 40 minutes, and the discharge temperature is less than 100.

3. The temperature of the secondary air is increased, and the air temperature is > 600 .
