Shaping machine (Secondary granulating machine) is a kind of secondary granulating equipment that will round and screen the granules made by the roller granulating machine to remove burr and crushed aggregates. It is mainly composed of transmission device, supporting device, drum, sieve and so on. It has the characterisitcs of stable operation, low noise, high efficiency, reliable performance and convenient maintenance.
Working Principle
The raw material balls from the double-roller granulator are sent to the material inlet of the shaping machine by the chute, and the material moves axially and radially along the cylinder wall in the barrel of the shaping machine. The material is gradually rounded by the radial force of the roller in the barrel, and the redundant burrs are separated. When the material passes through the screen part, the rolled-off burrs and dry material are agglomerated into dense and hard chunks (cake) under pressure, which is called extrusion process; the cake is crushed and screened to become granular material called Granulation process. The function of extrusion is to squeeze out the air between the particles, and to make the distance between the particles close enough to generate attractive forces such as van der Waals force, adsorption force, crystal bridge and embedded connection. Extruded granulated particles mainly rely on the strength of particles formed by the force between molecules.
