1. The rotary kiln has a stable output, so it is suitable for large,medium-sized and small active lime production lines.
2. The rotary kiln is open-type calcination process. Its structure is very simple. The quality of final lime is stable and with low rate of light-burnt and over-burnt. The rotary kiln can make the high quality lime with higher activity for steel making industry. Under the same conditions, the activity of lime produced by rotary kiln is higher than that of gas-fired vertical kiln, with an average 30mL higher, and the activity is normally 340~380mL, even up to 400mL.
3. The rotary kiln can directly feed into fine limestone with sizes of 10~50mm. Normally, 0~30mm fine limestone produced accounts for 30-40% of the total quantity. The construction of the rotary kiln production line can not only make full use of high-quality limestone mine resources, but also can meet the sustainable development policy of the lime industry.
4. The final lime product has stable quality is the most advantage by rotary kiln process. The active lime production project is suitable for the comprehensive development of mine resources and has a good development prospect.
