The rotary kiln for barite is an industrial calcination equipment specifically designed for processing materials such as barite. It achieves material decomposition or modification through high-temperature heating. Its rotating cylinder design ensures uniform heating of the material during movement, making it suitable for large-scale continuous production.
Barite Calcination Kiln is widely used in the chemical industry for producing inorganic salts such as barium carbonate; in the metallurgical industry as a preparation step for steelmaking auxiliary materials; supporting the pre-decomposition of cement raw materials in the building materials industry; and as a functional filler in the manufacture of rubber and plastic products.
Barite Calcination Process
The tilted barite rotary kiln rotates continuously under the drive of the transmission device, causing the internal material to move in a spiral trajectory towards the lower end due to centrifugal force. It undergoes physical and chemical changes through stages such as heating, reaction, and cooling. The heat source is provided by electric heating elements or a combustion system. The calcined clinker is discharged from the lower end and cooled to become the finished product. The waste gas is purified through a settling chamber, boiler, and other purification devices to achieve the standard for emission and realize comprehensive resource utilization.
1. The optimized cylinder volume is increased to meet the needs of mass production; the model features a wide temperature range and low energy consumption, and with the preheater and cooler recovering waste heat, it significantly reduces the heat consumption per unit product.
2. The sealed structure effectively prevents dust leakage and cold air intrusion, and combined with a dust removal system, it achieves clean production.
3. The automated control system simplifies process management, reduces manual intervention, and precise temperature control ensures product consistency; the open calcination design avoids sulfur residue, ensuring stable finished product quality.
4. Key components are made of wear-resistant steel, and with regular maintenance, long-term stable operation is possible, reducing the frequency of downtime for maintenance.
