The double-roller granulator uses the motor to drive the reducer through the belt, and then drives the fixed roller and the movable roller to rotate synchronously through the chain. While extruding, the air between the material particles can also be discharged to increase the density and strength of the particles.

The use of this double-roll granulator has certain requirements on the properties of the material. For better granulation effect and higher granulation efficiency, the moisture content of the material should be controlled at about 25%. And due to the limitation of its granulating principle, the double-roll granulator requires that the quality of the raw material should be relatively uniform, and it should not contain impurities such as iron blocks with high hardness, otherwise the roller skin will be easily damaged.

The roller skin is a consumable part. After a period of use, the diameter of the through hole on the roller skin will wear and become larger, and it needs to be replaced to a certain extent. Taking this into consideration, the double-roll granulator adopts a separate design for the hub and the roller skin. When replacing the roller skin, you only need to remove the roller skin covered outside the hub, and then put on a new roller skin. Just tighten the piece.

The raw meal balls produced by the double-roller granulator have a diameter of 10-16mm. If the diameter is too small, it will be difficult to extrude and the ball forming efficiency will be low. If the diameter is too large, the strength will be insufficient, which will also affect the ball forming efficiency.

When debugging the double-roll granulator, it is necessary to find the correct position first, so that the two rolls fit together but not squeeze each other, and then use the positioning bolts to fix the movable roll. Avoid the mutual extrusion of the two rollers, resulting in equipment failure due to excessive force.
