1. The working principle of the equipment

Double-roll granulator is a kind of molding equipment that makes materials containing a certain amount of moisture into a specific shape. It is mainly composed of a frame, a fixed roller device, a movable roller device, and a transmission device. Its working process is to extrude the materials entering the counter-roll granulator at one time. The machine has the advantages of reasonable structure, stable and reliable performance, convenient cleaning and maintenance, low energy consumption, long life and high granulation rate.


The working principle of the double-roll granulator is that the motor uses the belt to drive the reducer, and the reducer drives the fixed roller and the movable roller to rotate synchronously through the chain drive. , and discharged from the discharge port. The function of extrusion is to squeeze out the air between particles, and the other is to make the distance between particles close enough to generate attractive forces such as van der Waals force, adsorption force, crystal bridge and embedded connection. The particles of extrusion granulation are mainly formed by the force between the molecules of the particle strength.


2. Equipment structure and characteristics

The double-roll granulator is assembled from a frame, a transmission device, a movable roller device, a fixed roller device and other auxiliary components. The structural characteristics of each part are as follows:


1) Frame: After the overall welding is completed, the large vertical lathe and boring and milling machine are used for integrated processing and manufacturing, which ensures the processing, matching accuracy and shape and position tolerance of each part, and effectively improves the installation accuracy and reliability of the whole machine. .


2) Transmission device: The belt drive is adopted between the motor and the reducer, and the transmission is stable and reliable.


3), movable roller device: the guide rail frame is embedded in the bearing seat, the bearing seat slides along the guide rail frame by adjusting the position of the spring seat, and the pre-pressure of the movable roller device is adjusted by the lead screw, so as to obtain the product that meets the requirements.


4) Fixed roller device: The split structure of the roller and the hub is adopted to facilitate the replacement of the roller. The barrel is rolled and welded by high-quality carbon steel plates. The high-end is equipped with a retaining ring to prevent material return, and the low-end is provided with a support hub to prevent deformation of the barrel when it is squeezed.


5) Auxiliary parts: composed of roller cover device, chain and pulley cover.


3. Equipment advantages

1) Energy saving and consumption reduction Extrusion granulation is the granulation of materials at room temperature. Compared with other methods, drying measures such as fuel oil and gas are not required.

2) No need to add additional binder Dry granulation does not need additional additives, just use the intermolecular force of the material itself, which simplifies the process and reduces energy consumption.

3), low investment Because the drying process is omitted, and the material return ratio is low (accounting for about 15% of the total feed amount of the extruder), the process flow is simple and the investment is low.

4) Flexible raw material composition Extrusion granulation has a wide range of raw material routes. At present, there are more than 20 kinds of materials that have been successfully used for extrusion granulation. The extrusion granulation process is adopted to realize the product formula in a very short time replacement.

5), green and environmental protection without three wastes discharge, the energy consumed by extrusion and granulation is only electricity, and environmental protection has no three wastes discharge, which is in line with the basic national policy of the country on environmental protection, and also in line with the development strategy of enterprise environmental protection.
