1. Feed correctly 

In order to make the jaw plate wear evenly and reduce operating costs, the ore should be evenly distributed along the inlet of the feeder and fill the crushing cavity.


2. Ensure sufficient minerals 

During the normal use of the feeder, according to the needs of the productivity, within the range of the rated amplitude, the amplitude can be adjusted by adjusting the control box knob, so as to achieve the purpose of steplessly adjusting the productivity of the feeder.      


3. Matters needing attention in feeding

(1) Prevent iron pieces from entering the crushing cavity. The iron block may damage the jaw plate and other parts.

(2) Avoid the height of the ore exceeding the fixed jaw plate.

(3) The maximum ore size should be smaller than the feed port size of the jaw crusher. Large ore is easy to block the crushing cavity and affect the crushing efficiency

    

4. Set a reasonable size of the discharge opening

The setting of the discharge port is to adjust the distance between the two jaw plate at the lower end of the crushing chamber. The adjustable range of the discharge port is different for different types of equipment. Too small a discharge port will cause blockage and consume excessive energy, causing serious damage to the crusher. Excessively large discharge opening will increase the load of the second crushing.


5. Adjustment of the opening of the discharge opening

The adjustment of the opening of the discharge port is achieved by increasing or decreasing the adjustment shim behind the swing rod seat plate. When measuring the set distance, pay attention to the position of the upper eccentric shaft so that the lower end of the fixed jaw and the lower end of the movable jaw are in the closest position. At this position, measure the maximum diameter of a circle tangent to the two jaws. Use this The circle represents the size of the ore. The measuring device uses the ring gauge supplied with the machine. After adjustment, the tension spring cannot be compressed too much, and the springs must be tightly packed. 6. Overview of jaw plate

The two jaw plates are tooth-shaped and have a straight section design, which can be inverted and interchanged. Therefore, one jaw plate can be installed on the movable jaw as well as on the fixed jaw plate.


7. Jaw plate wear status and treatment measures

The state of jaw wear and its adjustment are very effective in improving the working capacity of the crusher. It is best to check the wear status regularly to determine when to turn the jaws upside down, interchange and replace them. The common wear conditions and treatment measures are as follows: 

(1) The bottom of the movable jaw plate has worn 1/3; the bottom of the fixed jaw plate has worn 2/3. Treatment measures: invert the two jaw plates. 

(2) The top and bottom of the movable jaw plates are worn by 1/3, and the middle is worn by half; the top and bottom of the fixed jaw plates are worn by 2/3. Treatment measures: exchange of two jaw plates.

9. Lubrication point and grease amount

The eccentric shaft bearing installed on the housing bearing box and the movable jaw is the only part of the jaw crusher that needs to be lubricated. The crusher is equipped with a labyrinth seal to keep the grease in the bearing clean. Grease nipple is provided on the four bearings for adding grease. Before adding grease, clean the grease nipple and grease gun to prevent dust from entering the bearing box.
