    Project Overview

    1. Project Introduction

    ZK Corp renovated a spodumene extraction lithium ore project in Huludao City, with a designed annual production capacity of 20,000 tons of battery-grade lithium carbonate. The supply equipment includes ball mills, acid mixers, buried scraper conveyors, jaw crushers, belt scales and electronic control equipment, ZK Corp is responsible for equipment manufacturing, transportation, installation and commissioning.

     

    2. Introduction of lithium production process from spodumene

    The spodumene enters the rotary kiln through the conveying equipment, and is calcined at 1200 degrees to complete the conversion of the internal α crystal to the β crystal, and the conversion rate can reach more than 98%. The calcined clinker is cooled by a cooler, the bulk material is crushed by a jaw crusher, and the clinker with a qualified particle size is sent to a ball mill for grinding. The pulverized materials are accurately metered, and then mixed with acid mixer and sulfuric acid. The mixed materials with uniform thickness enter the acidification kiln for acidification, and then sent to the wet process workshop after acidification.

    3. Process highlights

    (1) The use of rotary kiln calcination temperature control is easy to control, and the conversion rate is high;

    (2) The cooling machine adopts a circulating water pool and a water vapor collection device to improve the working environment of the workshop under the premise of ensuring the cooling effect.

    (3) The ball mill has high grinding efficiency, low energy consumption, no dust spillage, clean environment, and meets environmental protection requirements.

    (4) The kiln body is designed with multi-point wireless temperature measurement to achieve precise control of the overall temperature of the rotary kiln and ensure the material conversion rate.

    (5) The whole mixing and conveying process of the acid mixer is carried out in a closed space, with no dust leakage, clean and environmentally friendly, and the mixing blades are made of wear-resistant materials and have been specially surface treated to have high wear resistance.

    The project site equipment is being installed and debugged.
