    Project Overview

    An environmental protection company in Shanghai is mainly engaged in the business of hazardous waste treatment and resource utilization. In 2020, it undertook the construction of 100 t/d solid (hazardous) waste incineration comprehensive hazardous waste in Fuyang, Anhui Province, aiming to realize the harmless disposal of hazardous waste. In view of the strong technical capabilities of Henan Zhengzhou Mining Machinery Co., Ltd. and its good reputation in the industry, the two parties cooperated again. The design and manufacture of the solid (hazardous) waste incineration rotary kiln and secondary combustion chamber equipment used in this project were once again contracted by Henan Zhengzhou Mining Machinery Co., Ltd. The two parties signed a purchase contract in April, and the equipment was installed and put into operation in September.

    The process used for hazardous waste incineration is that the hazardous waste completes the process of water evaporation, volatile analysis, ignition and combustion in the rotary kiln. The ash part is discharged from the bottom of the secondary combustion chamber, and the generated flue gas enters the secondary combustion chamber. The room is mixed with secondary combustion air, heated to above 1100°C, and the residence time is more than 2 seconds to completely complete the decomposition of dioxins.


    Project Solution

    The equipment supplied this time is a φ4.2x16m rotary kiln and a φ5.4x18m secondary combustion chamber. The following solutions are adopted to solve customer needs.

    1. To ensure that harmful gases do not leak out: the system has good sealing measures and high furnace negative pressure

    2. Easy operation and maintenance: the equipment operation rate is high, and the annual operation rate can generally reach about 90%.

    3. Equipped with a secondary combustion chamber, the flue gas is heated to above 1100°C and stays for more than 2 seconds in the secondary combustion chamber, so that the dioxins can be completely decomposed and removed.

    4. This incineration technology can not only meet all environmental requirements for the harmless treatment of hazardous waste (medical waste), but is also the recommended technology for solving hazardous waste in my country.

    5. Wide application range, strong material adaptability, large processing capacity, and strong resistance to moisture content fluctuations. The heat load of the furnace is large, and the materials are completely incinerated, which is enough to deal with the complete incineration of a large amount of hazardous waste. Even if the calorific value and moisture content of the materials fluctuate, they can be completely incinerated.
